The Sunday School is
launching its first mission
project of 2008! Many of you will remember
that last year we raised over $2,000 for the
Heifer Project. If you are not familiar with
this organization, it has helped more than
8.5 million impoverished families in 125
countries escape poverty and move toward
self-reliance. Its goal is to end world
hunger and save the earth through the gift

2008 Vacation Bible School - This year RUMC is going to join in with at least four
other churches to host two weeks of Vacation Bible Camp at Emory Grove. RUMC will team with one or
two other churches to run the first week (July 14th-18th), and a different group of churches will
organize week two (July 21st-25th). We plan to have the same theme but different activities for each
of the weeks. This is an awesome opportunity to team up with other churches to reach our community
and teach our children about Jesus' love for them.
