Pastor Steve is married to Leslie, who has her Masters in Education and is a teacher for Baltimore County. They have four young adult children:

• Matt Cochran who works for H&R Block;
• Jennifer, who graduated from MD, she’s married to Walt and is working on her PhD at Harvard;
• Joshua graduated from Penn State, he is married to Ashley and he’s at FL State working on his PhD;
• Christopher graduated from MD and is now in New Orleans working with the American Core for two years.
• Here’s a little bio on our new Pastor: Pastor Steve graduated with a BS from Towson University, (back when it was known as Towson State University), he has a Masters of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary and a Masters of Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College. He served at

Hereford UMC for 21 years and has served on the following:

• Board of Ordained Ministry
• Conference Round Table Ministry
• Redevelopment Committee
• District Board
• Supervising Elder
• Conference Conflict Mediator
• And he is currently serving on the Board of Directors and counselor for Westminster Rescue Mission and on the Board of Directors of First Fruits Farm.

Some of Pastor Steve’s hobbies are fishing, jogging, and just being outdoors. Fridays are usually his day off and you will be able to find him with a fishing pole in hand anywhere where the fish are biting!

Pastor Steve’s vision for RUMC includes, “excellence in worship; love the unlovable; be the Gospel; care for the least, the lowly, the homeless, feed the hungry, and for the community to know if you are in need, Reisterstown United Methodist Church is the place to come.”
