Piney Grove Church - View Photo Gallery
Work at Piney Grove Church was performed on April 5th with much accomplished. The
Chimneys are now sealed and (hopefully) will no longer leak into the parish. The basement project was
undertaken, with clean-up from the construction and reorganization including shelving installed. The
cemetery was picked up and the North wall repaired and painted. The hallway that was being utilized as a closet
was picked up, the walls sanded and the room painted. Twas amazing what was accomplished but have to say
thanks to the Lord for the sunny skies and fair weather that came along. Lots more to do, however, "One Step at a Time".
Thanks to all that were able to be there, and for the prayers received to accomplish the work that was
accomplished. We had over twenty people participate. They were from family who attend RUMC, the Youth Group,
the Men's Group, and nearby Scout Troop (Troop 980). It is wonderful to witness how Christ works with, through
and among all of us.

Wild at Heart begins again. The Men's Ministry of RUMC is pleased to present the Wild at Heart
video and study series for men. This will be the fourth time that the Men's Ministry has presented
this transformative men's series. It will be held on Wednesday nights in the Dale Chambers Community
Youth Center at 7 p.m. beginning April 23. Tony Trcka will be the facilitator. If you are interested
in this series, please contact Tony, Steve Marroulis or Pastor Dick.
The Men's Ministry of RUMC is also offering a small group study on Monday nights in the Dale Chambers
Community Youth Center at 7 p.m. beginning April 28. We will be reading Working Together, Sharing the
Bounty as we examine and discuss specific social issues as they relate to scripture and daily life.
The course is expected to be about nine weeks, and all men are welcome to participate. If you are
interested in this small group study, please contact Dennis Smith or Stevee Marroulis.
Save the Date! The 3rd Annual Men's Retreat is planned for September 12-14, 2008 at Manidokan Retreat
Center. Plan to join the men for a weekend of worship, fellowship and outdoor fun.
